Wayward Farm was established in 2013 by Shaun and Angelina Braley on a small plot of land in Southwest Clare county, Michigan. What initially started as a small herd of goats, has have since expanded to include maple syrup, honey, and premium heritage, and pasture-raised pork products. In 2020, during the pandemic, they relocated the to 80 acres in Northeast Mecosta county they now call home.
Shaun and Angelina fully embrace the Mid-western country lifestyle and enjoy all that it has to offer. From Maple syrup to goat milk soaps and cheeses, farm fresh eggs, produce and honey, they truly are passionate about sustainable living. They are avid outdoorsmen and great lovers of animals. The farm is home to various equine, many dogs, cats, bunnies, pigs, goats and chickens!
Angelina & Shaun are both talented artists and work in a variety of mediums.

The farm offers pints and half pints of Michigan grown, pure maple syrup, tapped from a variety of species. The syrup is cooked over a wood fire to enhance the rich, natural flavor.

Wayward Farms works diligently to maintain sustainable practices in all of the aspects of their operations. farming.
In addition to the goats, pigs and syrups, they also produce hay on fields in the Sears and Lake Village areas. Hay prices vary depending on the grow season, current market and quality.
